Adrian Smith is a seasoned security expert with over 10 years of experience, drawing from a distinguished military career and extensive private sector work. A former Infantryman in the U.S. Army, Adrian served with the renowned 101st Airborne Division, 4th Infantry Division, and 2nd Cavalry Regiment, including three combat deployments to Afghanistan and a special assignment in various other locations. His military background equipped him with advanced operational skills, strategic insight, and the ability to solve complex problems in diverse environments.
After transitioning to the private security sector, Adrian further strengthened his expertise, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Project Management. He also holds a variety of instructor-level certifications across multiple security domains.
As the Founder of his own security firm, Adrian is recognized for his unwavering dedication to client relationships, operational excellence, and leadership by example. His comprehensive skill set, combined with his commitment to continuous professional development, positions him as a trusted leader in the security industry.
Adrian’s expertise includes specialized training in firearms, personal protection, and emergency response, and he remains actively involved in professional development through firearms training and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Adrian Smith served 10 years in the Army in various units before beginning his career in security. During his time in the Army, Adrian completed three tours in Afghanistan and conducted a special detail in Turkey.
Throughout Adrian’s Army career, he participated in domestic and international training scenarios, which taught him various techniques for strategic operations. He carries this focus on extensive training and excellence into his role as owner and operator of Pikes Peak Security.
After retiring from the military, Adrian worked as a freelancer in the protection industry, which allowed him to use the skills he developed during his time in the military. Adrain also worked to further his education with several degrees and certifications. Currently, Adrian is the general manager, founder, and practitioner at Pikes Peak Security. He believes in leading by example to give his staff and clients the best possible experience with his company.
When Adrian is not performing work duties, he spends time with his family and conducts firearms and low-level Brazilian Jujitsu training sessions.
